Compression underwear for women with lymphedema after various breast surgeries.

The goal of compression therapy is to prevent the formation of swelling by means of surface pressure and to promote lymph drainage by increasing the interstitial (intercellular) pressure. Therapeutically effective pressure activates lymphatic motility. In combination with the movement of the chest area, it has a positive effect on the reduction of protein-rich lymph.

Compression therapy is usually long-term and requires appropriate products that patients apply themselves on the doctor's instructions, if there is a medical reason for this.

Models of the CuraLymph Compression series provide patients with the necessary care in accordance with clinical recommendations. In addition, pressure massage pads can be inserted into clothing to increase pressure in a targeted manner and support the treatment of specifically localized swelling.

The CuraLymph fabric and the pressure massage mat are used only on the recommendation of a doctor.

After the treatment is determined according to the stage of the disease, the products Amoena Lymph Flow SB FC and Amoena Lymph Flow Long SB FC in compression class 1 (18-21 mmHG) are used for the following indication:

Indications for CuraLymph products
Damage to the function of the vascular lymphatic system of the chest and/or breast (eg post-operative/post-traumatic). Flow limitation due to limited speed. At mild to moderate risk of swelling, lymphedema and heaviness to reduce swelling, relieve discomfort and pain.

Any contraindications to the use of compression therapy should be consulted in advance with your attending physician.
